I am a beginner dancer and never bought ballroom shoes before, but I loved these. My salsa teacher told me how the shoes are supposed to fit and I have tried others. I think these are good. I read a lot of other reviews saying it is too narrow but I thought it fit fine. If you have fat feet get the wide. Now regarding size, I got the 5 which is my street size and maybe could even go smaller. Anyway, great shoe for the price.
